COVID SAFE EVENT

The Optical Distribution & Manufacturers Association of Australia Ltd together with Optometry Victoria South Australia is committed to delivering O=MEGA21 with the highest health and safety standards and precautions in relation to COVID-19.

Exhibitor, Visitor and Delegate safety is our top priority. We are working in consultation with the venue, suppliers, contractors and the state government to ensure that O=MEGA21 is delivered in a safe and controlled environment, within COVID-19 government guidelines.

 
 


COVID-Safe Guidelines

We are committed to delivering an event experience which is suited to the current climate we’re all facing. This involves a range of protective measure to ensure O=MEGA21 is a safe and controlled environment in which to do business within COVID-19 guidelines:

  • As a trade-only event, all attendees must register and consent to the entry terms and conditions, government regulations and data collection required for contact tracing.

  • QR code scanning will minimise contact at registration points.

  • Queue management and crowd control measures to guide entry, visitor flows and exit. 

  • No physical contact policy for all exhibitors, visitors, delegates, staff and contractors/suppliers.

  • Monitoring real-time data on occupancy.

  • Signage throughout the event footprint to delivery key messages.

  • Hand sanitiser stations at all entry and high touch point areas.

  • Increased sanitisation and cleaning for all areas and customer touch points to ensure they are maintained to the highest hygiene standards.

  • Regular public announcements will communicate physical distancing and attendance expectations.

  • COVID Marshalls to maintain social distancing and attendance guidelines.

  • Employees and contractors to undergo strict training and induction for specific health and safety measures.
